Revision Policy

Rounds included per tier

Every one-time tier — Sales Rendering, Design Set, Design Set + Renderings, Permit-Filed Package, Engineered Package, Permit-Filed Engineered Package — includes 2 rounds of revisions. This is the same across every one-time tier; the tiers differ in what’s delivered (renderings, permit submittal, structural calculations, the PE seal), not in how many revision rounds you get. The Builder Retainer is billed monthly, and revisions are handled under its own retainer terms instead.

What counts as a round

A round is one consolidated set of feedback from you, addressed in one updated set of drawings. You can raise multiple change requests within a single round — a round is measured by how many times we send you an updated set, not by how many individual notes are in your feedback. Sending a new note after we’ve already sent an updated set in response to your last one starts a new round.

Additional revisions

Once your included rounds are used, additional revisions are $150 each, with no cap on how many you can request beyond that.

The guarantee & its limits

Your plans are revised free of charge — beyond your included rounds, and without counting against them — whenever the revision is needed because of an error or oversight on our end. This includes a case where your reviewing agency (Duke Energy, USACE, your county building department, or another authority) doesn’t approve the submission because of something we got wrong.

If a revision is needed for a reason outside our control — a change in your own plans, a policy detail specific to your project, or a condition that turns up during your reviewing agency’s own review that we couldn’t have known about — your standard revision terms apply: your included rounds, then $150 each after that.

Refunds

A 50% deposit is due up front on any tier priced $2,500 or above, with the balance due on delivery; tiers under $2,500 are billed on delivery, and Builder Retainer accounts are billed monthly.

If a project is cancelled or abandoned before it’s complete, Shoreline Designs reserves the right to retain the deposit and, if the cost of work already completed exceeds it, charge the difference — based on how much work had been done at the time it stopped.
